Why Volunteer at Jameson School?
Our children are our most important resource, and we have a responsibility to see that they are well educated and prepared for the world that awaits them.
As parents, grandparents, neighbors, and members of the Old Orchard Beach community, you have ideas, talents, skills, and time you can share with our school and our children. We need you as a volunteer!
The Jameson School Volunteer Program brings together the needs of the school with the unlimited resources of the greater school community. The School Volunteer Program will:
Bring enrichment into the class
Provide individual tutoring for students
Extend the human resources in school
Promote support of public education
Allow community involvement in school- a key element
of
excellence in education
Benefit all children
Please volunteer by filling out a Volunteer Registration Form and returning it to the Jameson School. This should be filled out by returning volunteers as well as new volunteers. Teachers will be requesting volunteers over the next several weeks. At that time, volunteer placements will be made and I will contact volunteers to attend an orientation session, and training sessions if applicable.
