Mission Statement
The Old Orchard Beach Alumni Association is committed to:

• developing a partnership with the Old Orchard Beach School system

• providing aid in the form of donations to the Old Orchard Beach Alumni Scholarship Fund

• developing a roster of all past and present members

• providing all members with information about activities including reunions
  

Membership

Any person who has attended school in Old Orchard Beach or has been/is a teacher, staff member, or administrator in the OOB school system, shall be eligible for membership in the OOB Alumni Association. Dues of $3.00 are payable on or before the next annual meeting/reunion.

Homecoming Booklets
A few extra 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 & 2005 Homecoming booklets were printed and are available for the cost of $2.00 each while supplies last. If you are interested in obtaining one, please contact Sandy Lord at 284-6726 or [email protected] for more information.

Missing Yearbooks
The "Oceana" yearbook collection for Old Orchard Beach High School has a new permanent location at the high school in the yearbook case donated by the Class of 1998. We are missing the following years: 1951 and 1973. If you should have a copy that you would be willing to donate to the alumni for the collection, please drop it off at the school office or contact Sandy Lord. 

There are people who are looking for yearbooks in different years and there are some extra yearbooks of different years available for sale. If you have a yearbook and do not wish to keep it, please contact Sandy, as others maybe looking for that particular year. Books in poor condition will be sold at $5.00 and good condition is $10.00. These are books up until the year of 1989. All monies will be donated to the Alumni Scholarship fund. Books of the 1990's and 2000 will be sold at a higher price and money put into the Oceana account. Your thoughtfulness could make someone else very happy! Give it a thought!

Possible Help Needed
If you live in the area and are willing to help with the mass mailing of the newsletter, please contact Sandy Lord FMI. Times would be mid January and early August. This would include folding, stuffing envelopes, putting labels on, putting stamps on, etc. The more hands the merrier!

The Old Orchard Beach Alumni Association has a policy to protect the privacy of members by not releasing class lists for the purposes of solicitation. Each class agent is responsible for the release of member information to long-lost friends or for the purpose of individual class reunions. In addition, a direct request to the corresponding secretary will assure that your address will be used for alumni newsletters only and not released to ANY person or organization for ANY purpose.
