Loranger Middle School strives to provide an educational setting that fosters the enrichment and development of all students while maintaining a climate that is safe and innovative. A core selection of classes is offered to all students and each child is given the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of offerings, both academic and nonacademic in nature. We hope to enhance the educational process while fostering enjoyment and positive interactions among students, parents and teachers. Loranger Middle School is comprised of grades 4 through 8. The school has two wings with grades 4 and 5 in one wing and grades 6 through 8 in the other wing. The school has approximately 485 students served by 60 staff members. The two wings do share some common areas such as a cafeteria, gymnasium, art room and library media center. The school also offers traditional middle school teams with looping and multi-age models available. Loranger Middle School also offers special education services in an inclusion and self-contained classroom environment. We also offer a full slate of social work services and alternative education programs. Our goal is to have each child reach his or her potential at Loranger Middle School. We encourage each student to go beyond his or her limits in order to grow in an atmosphere that promotes success and creates a sense of pride among students, faculty and parents. |
